Spatial Gradients

Matte plexiglass meets vibrant gradients.
Mirror meets presence.

Poppy Fetzner (*1991, Germany) creates visual objects that hover between surface and depth, softness and clarity, digital aesthetics and inner resonance. Her circles, layers, and fogged plexiglass capture a state between polarity and unity, a moment where tension turns into coherence.

Her work emerges from inner duality: clarity and fog, stillness and intensity.
The circle becomes stabilizing architecture, a point where fragments align.
Satin-finished plexiglass behaves like skin — protective, diffused, intimate — while mirrored elements fold the viewer’s presence into the work, introducing a sharper, almost other-dimensional presence that dissolves the boundary between artwork and space.

These pieces operate as thresholds: between space and perception, identity and atmosphere.
They subtly transform the environments they inhabit. The mirror dissolves boundaries, folding the room into the work and allowing space, material and presence to merge.
They hint toward a practice that is moving into the spatial, toward fields where visual form, resonance and presence converge.

Her works are held in private collections in New York, London, Zürich, Munich, and Berlin. She collaborates with art advisors in Dubai and Switzerland and exhibits with BAODT Art Gallery.
